Supra-Works MK4 Supra Front Big Brake Kit (1993–1998) — 355x32mm, 6-Piston

The MK4 Toyota Supra finally has a true, purpose-built front big brake kit—designed for the chassis from the start. No more borrowing rotors/calipers from SRT-8 or CTS-V platforms and “making it work.” This is bolt-on, Supra-correct fitment engineered to deliver modern braking torque, heat capacity, and pedal confidence—without the compromise.

Built for Real Heat + Real Grip

At the center of the kit is a 355mm (14”) x 32mm rotor package with two-piece construction: a lightweight aluminum hat paired to a high-performance iron rotor ring. The result is improved heat management, reduced unsprung weight, and consistent braking performance where it matters most—street, canyon, or track days.

Why We Chose J-Hook Rotors (and Not Cross-Drilled)

Brake pads release gases (from resins and binders) under high heat—especially during repeated hard stops. If those gases get trapped between the pad and rotor, it can reduce effective contact and contribute to fade.

J-hook slotting is designed to:

  • Vent pad gases efficiently (better “off-gassing”) for more consistent bite
  • Continuously refresh the pad surface and help maintain friction
  • Improve wet performance by clearing water film faster

 

Unlike cross-drilled designs, J-hook rotors avoid stress-riser holes, which can become crack initiators under repeated heat cycles. That’s why we chose this pattern: performance-focused, durable, and track-proven logic—without the cracking risks commonly associated with cross-drilled rotors.

  • Powder-coated Brembo mono-block 6-piston calipers

Fitment + Wheel Clearance

  • Vehicle: 1993–1998 Toyota Supra (MK4 / A80) — Front
  • Wheel requirement: 18” wheels and up. 

Installation Notes (Important)

Note: Wheel diameter is only part of clearance—spoke design and offset matter. This kit is ideal for custom wheels with “Supra-correct fitment” and generous caliper clearance. See pictures.

 

This is a high-performance braking system and must be installed correctly.

  • Professional installation is required
  • Removal of OEM dust shields is required
  • Proper brake bleeding and pad/rotor bedding are essential for best results
